That's A Wrap

Traditional fall fashion has been in a holding pattern here in Southern California due to the humid and unusually warm weather. I was recently was asked by Old Navy to view their fall collection and select and style a few favorites. This opportunity became a fashionable affair in layering especially living in L.A.

I am drawn to pieces that make a statement and are easily incorporated into my wardrobe. I instantly was drawn to the ease and distinct geometric pattern on this poncho wrap. Wraps, ponchos (tomato, "tamato") are a great styling option that accommodate an array of body types. As we know some garments whether due to cut or design aren't forgiving in various areas. This is a garment flaw not a body flaw wraps are a cold weather cure all for fit issues. Ideally an "over sized" wrap should be selected that once styled communicates a comfy and cozy seasonal ensemble.

I styled and paired the wrap with these suede D'Orsay pumps they aren't traditional "fall boots" but hey "I do what I want". When it comes to personal style there are no rules. The heels are the perfect height for the office or getting around town. I love a classic Silhouette
and with a color name like "wine tasting" I was sold. You guys know I love a good  statement piece and poncho wrap is the  perfect layering addition to any fall wardrobe Old Navy has some of the best poncho options at the moment. I’m particularly fond of this one and can see myself wearing it all fall season.

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

What’s your favorite way to wear the poncho/wrap trend for fall?
