Autumn Spice

They say variety is the spice of life and it is from that school of thought that I fondly reflect on the many memories made this summer. I am also looking forward to the autumn traditions and festivities that will take place in the upcoming months. The fall and winter seasons are full of traditions from the ever-popular "Pumpkin Spice Latte", to pumpkin carving and breaking in those perfect fall boots. I eagerly await these seasonal traditions and new additions.
If all else fails I can remind myself that I live in Southern California and that summer is a state of mind.

Telephone

For as long as I can remember the concept of a phone call from London has been a great source of joy and excitement. My half brother lives in London and yes he has an authentic British accent and everything. I do not traditionally call him my "half brother" although the truth is he is my other half and when he's around he lights up the room and my life. Obviously with the advancement of technology my brother and I communicate in a variety of ways thank you WhatsApp and hello FaceTime. However, the telephone box will always remind me of my brother so naturally when I stumbled upon these brightly colored traditional British red telephone boxes. I was instantly inspired to snap a few photos to share. I hope you enjoy!

Just Peachy

I know that I normally post my wardrobe looks on Wednesday however, this week I mixed things up in lieu of the Sephora giveaway. If you haven't already entered you can do so here for an opportunity to win the chance to shop with a $300.00 U.S.D. gift card. For this weeks look I opted to keep things light and casual with traditional "tomboy" elements such as a classic button down and tennis shoes. I selected to finish off the look with a sassy pleated skirt and my Kate Spade clutch. This particular "Paris and the Single Girl" clutch has accompanied me to Paris and reminds me of one of my favorite cities in the world.
I hope your weekend is just peachy!

Fall Footwear

I can’t believe it is already time to start contemplating fall footwear but there are ONLY two weeks left of summer! With that being said I am looking forward to the next season. Below are a few fall footwear options that I am flat out in love with.

Fall Footwear
One: These high heeled Ivanka Trump "Didia" cutout cage open toe suede booties are a great mix and match option for fall transitions from the office to the night life scene.
These are one of my favorite fall footwear selections previously mentioned here
Two: A fall & winter season would not be complete without a silver lining on rainy days.Trusty rain boots for rainy days are a sassy style statement and a savvy practical footwear option.
Three: The chunky heel Isolá rounded toe pumps are perfect for a "9-5" shoe as the color assortment is vibrant and the bulky heel provides style and comfort all day long.
Four: The bootie is a fall staple perfect with casual leggings and ideal for a dress and tights. This year I am partial to Sole Society's "Tallie" suede tassel bootie with an exposed rustic heel.
Those are a few fall footwear options I am currently flat out in love with and looking forward to wearing this upcoming season.

Countdown

It is summer and that means concert season and I have a few concerts on my agenda. I have composed my concert attire in a fun and sassy COUNTDOWN inspiration board. I am CRAZY IN LOVE with Beyoncé and fortunate to be attending her "On The Run Tour "with Jay Z. I saw Queen B in concert multiple times last summer during the Mrs. Carter World Tour and she is one of the most talented and inspirational artists out there!
CountdownI believe in musical pre-gaming and listening to the artist's music on repeat prior to arriving to the concert to get pumped up and ready to PARTY. After all you don't want to arrive BLUE. ONE
I'm inspired buy this amazing top so sophisticated ...1+1 = TWO
The second part of the evening's wardrobe is a fun skort or a nice pair of shorts, as comfort is key. THREE
Chanel earrings are IRREPLACEABLE and fun to pull out for sassy special events. FOUR
Bangles for an arm party are a must have for every DIVA. FIVE
A fun and compact shoulder bag so that you can dance the night away and not have to worry about your handbag. The only thing on your mind should be how to nail dance moves and belting out lyrics to your favorite songs. SIX
Sometimes PRETTY HURTS so I recommend ornate sandals or flats for concerts so by the end of the night your feet still feel like HEAVEN. SEVEN
Beyoncé inspires so many it often seems like she has SUPERPOWERs while running the world and SCHOOLIN' LIFE. A musical artist, fashion icon and #Grownman, what can't she do? On that note I say "Don't worry Be 'Yonce" meaning be the best sassy & savvy version of yourself.
I hope you all have a FLAWLESS weekend.

XO!
